Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix was an Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix was a natural athlete and found her passion of sprinting while during her time at Los Angeles Baptist High School. At her first attempt and placing in the top two at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships for the 200 meters in just 10 weeks. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003, signed the sports contract with Adidas. Then she was accepted into the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. The first Olympic medal came during the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens Greece. Felix set a world junior record for sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 secs. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion in running 200m. She won the title in 2007. won her title by beating Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently in the top third in each of her races in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
