Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actress who is best popular for her work on TV series The Shield and True Blood. Since her introduction in 2003, she has demonstrated her range in the role of actress with remarkable performances in TV series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. It was initially noticed because of her character Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. However, it was her portrayal of Fannie Lou (a women's activist for rights) for the biographical All the Way film that earned her the attention of an actor. Her portrayal of Harriet Tubman on WGN America's time-based drama Underground was also highly appreciated. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series to a third season. Hind recently wrapped up filming for the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which will be released in the middle of 2019. The title catapulted her into the world of modeling's speed lane. The year 2003 was the time she was offered attractive jobs at PepsiCo Inc. as well as Vogue magazine. She also got a contract as an L'Oreal Paris spokesmodel. She had a successful acting career through her appearances in Iruvar (1997 as well as Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). Also in 2003, she became the first Indian actor to sit on the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan made her film debut in Gurinderchadha's Bride and Prejudice, a musical and dancing adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. This was the moment that Bachchan added her star-power and beauty to her debut major film in English. Bachchan returned to Bollywood to make the cult Dhoom: 2 (2006) prior to releasing Provoked The Story of Provoked True Story (2006) in English. She married Abhishek Bachchan, a co-star and father of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage has brought two of India's most prominent celebrities and their families.
