Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actress who is best popular for her work on TV series The Shield and True Blood. Since her introduction in 2003, she has demonstrated her range in the role of actress with remarkable performances in TV series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. It was initially noticed because of her character Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. However, it was her portrayal of Fannie Lou (a women's activist for rights) for the biographical All the Way film that earned her the attention of an actor. Her portrayal of Harriet Tubman on WGN America's time-based drama Underground was also highly appreciated. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series to a third season. Hind recently wrapped up filming for the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which will be released in the middle of 2019. The place she was born is Mangalore, in India. Their father Krishnaraj was an Army scientist. He died on 18 March 2017. Her mother Vrinda works at home. Aditya is her elder brother and a merchant naval engineer. The brother of Bachchan co-produced and wrote the film Dil Ka Rishta with their mother. The actress attended Arya Vidya Mandir High School located in Mumbai the city where her family moved to. Jai Hind College in Mumbai is where she completed her middle schooling over one year before enrolment into D.G. Ruparel College, Matunga. The college scored 91% on her H.S.C. exams. She was a classical music student and dance for 5 yrs through her teenage teens. Her preferred subject was Zoology. Bachchan was studying architecture at the time she was crowned Miss World in 1994. The title catapulted her into the world of modeling's speed lane. The year 2003 was the time she was offered attractive jobs at PepsiCo Inc. as well as Vogue magazine. She also got a contract as an L'Oreal Paris spokesmodel. She had a successful acting career through her appearances in Iruvar (1997 as well as Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). Bachchan made her film debut in Gurinderchadha's Bride and Prejudice, a musical and dancing adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. This was the moment that Bachchan added her star-power and beauty to her debut major film in English. Bachchan returned to Bollywood to make the cult Dhoom: 2 (2006) prior to releasing Provoked The Story of Provoked True Story (2006) in English. She married Abhishek Bachchan, a co-star and father of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage has brought two of India's most prominent celebrities and their families.
